An Exceptional Surgeon Who Has Truly Changed My Life - Dr Imran Hussain Andrabi

First and foremost I am truly grateful to Allah (SWT) for bringing this surgeon into my life and giving me the opportunity to pursue a cure. I feel incredibly blessed to have been guided towards someone who could offer me hope, healing and a chance at a healthier future.

After suffering for 12 years with perianal abscesses, I can honestly say that finding this surgeon has been life changing. I travelled abroad specifically to seek his expertise because of his specialisation in this field and I am incredibly grateful that I made this decision.

For 12 long years, I endured repeated perianal abscesses and numerous incision and drainage surgeries. The pain was excruciating, debilitating and had a significant impact on my quality of life. Over time, the abscesses developed into a perianal fistula. I also suffered from piles and a perianal fissure due to the strain and ongoing issues in the area. Living with these problems for so many years was physically and mentally exhausting.

From the very beginning, my experience with this surgeon was exceptional. During our pre-operative consultations via WhatsApp, he took the time to answer my questions, address my concerns, and explain the entire procedure in great detail. Naturally I was anxious, particularly as I was travelling abroad for surgery, but his professionalism, patience, and reassuring manner immediately put my mind at ease. He explained what to expect before surgery, during the procedure and throughout the recovery period, including realistic expectations around healing and recovery time.

What truly sets him apart is the level of care and dedication he provides beyond the surgery itself. He gave me detailed guidance on the importance of maintaining a high fibre diet, as well as comprehensive instructions on post-operative wound care and how to support the healing process. He made sure I understood everything I needed to do to give myself the best possible chance of recovery.

Even after I travelled back home, he and his team continued to check in on me for months. They provided invaluable advice, answered my concerns and offered consistent reassurance and moral support throughout my recovery. Knowing that I could rely on him and his team even from another country, made an enormous difference. Their commitment to my well-being went far beyond what I could have hoped for, and I will always be grateful for the care and compassion they showed me.

After 12 years of pain, repeated surgeries, and the physical and emotional burden of these conditions, the improvement in my lifestyle has been massive. I cannot fully express how much it means to have sought help from someone who not only has such specialised expertise but also genuinely cares about his patients and their recovery.

I am extremely grateful that I found him. Thank you to Dr Imran and his entire team for your dedication, professionalism, kindness, and unwavering support. Thank you for putting my mind at ease, guiding me through every stage of the process and continuing to support me long after my surgery. You have made a tremendous difference to my life, and I will always appreciate your efforts.

First and foremost, all praise and thanks belong to **Allah Almighty**, who blessed me with healing, comfort, and recovery. Alhamdulillah, I am feeling much better now.

About a month ago, Dr. Andrabi performed my anal fissure surgery, and I am very happy with the overall experience. Alhamdulillah, the surgery went very smoothly, and I did not experience the severe pain I had feared. My recovery has been going well, and I am feeling comfortable in my daily life.

Before the surgery, passing stool was a very painful experience for me. However, Alhamdulillah, I no longer experience the same pain I had before, and this has made a significant positive difference in my life.
